I gave my soul to a new religion... Black Rebel Motorcycle Club = the most awesome live band around. Seriously. I saw them live for the sixth time last night and after having to miss the Paradiso show in February due to a broken ankle, I was more than excited. And it was amazing! Robert is still one sexy cool fella, Leah must be the best female drummer ever and Peter has such a beautiful voice... I had a blast! They played a nice mix of old classics (Stop! Spread Your Love! Weight of the World!) and new favourites (Sell it! Returning! Lullaby!) but unfortunately, the crowd was kinda crappy - as happens more and more these days :(

But I sure had a great time! Spread your love like a fevaaahhh...

Mixtape Monday (4): Holiday

I haven't had a lot of inspiration the past few weeks: I was busy finishing work and living my life (went to see Blur last Friday, OMG!, might write a bit about that later). The lovely weather inspired me to make this holiday/ summer mixtape, I hope you like it. I took some timeless classics (Alice Cooper is my standard end-of-year-yay-no-more-kids tune and I simply love Katrina & the Waves and the Kinks) and combined them with a bunch of personal favourites (such as the Dandy Warhols and Queens of the Stone Age).
